To HUSBAND (please read!)

Husband, Yes, I think we all find KP to be a little bit of a turn-off. Well,I know I do, anyway. It's just hard to hear it, I guess. I don't have it -- my daughter does, and my ex-husband. For me, intimacy with my husband/partner is a big and important part of the relationship....and the sense of touch is a HUGE part of that!! Wait, is it a huge part, or is it ALL of it -- touch, sensation. I wasn't terribly bothered by my husband's skin, but at the same time, it didn't make me want to touch him all the time either. It was not conducive to intimacy that way. But you know, guys are often all hairy and supposed to be rough and everything, anyway....I feel especially bad for women who have it, I really do. And I remember when my daughter was just a newborn (and toddler and so forth), and how odd and strange it was to me at first, that she didn't have that "baby soft skin." I hope hope hope that the stuff you purchased for your wife to try does work for her! She will feel so much better...you'll feel so much better...oh wow...! |

Give me a break..they are just some bumps on the skin..quit being so superficial. My aunt has Neurofibromatosis..talk about REAL bumps..they are benign tumors all over her skin. Look the disease up..they are something to agonize over. We are lucky. Anyway,my boyfriend says my KP is tantilizing (sp?)to touch. Point-I found someone who likes me..bumps and all. |

I think you guys are being a little unfair towards husband. How can we expect him to accept this skin condition when we, ourselves, cannot even stand it! We are so bothered by it that we are here on this site, trying to find ways to rid ourselves of it. I mean, obviously, he can't be that bad since he married her and still loves her. |
