I'm from Holland and a lot the products mentioned on the board are not aviable here. But I have found some good alternatives like tea tree soap (aviable at "the body Shop" instead of sulfur soap and a cream from my doctor (very greasy) in combination with clearasil night gel with sulfur in it. It is working, my arms, legs, butt and back are feeling much better than before. But it takes time, I have been doing this for three weeks once an day every day and only now the spots seem to go away. I'm still looking for a better product to make my spots less obvious, so I'll keep you posted! |

You mention the tea tree soap as working for you. Does anyone know if using straight tea tree oil, perhaps mixed in a lotion, would work? |

I used the Tea Tree Lotion, I hated the smell. It did not help my KP at all. |

Glad to hear you've found alternative products to the ones on the board. I'd like to try the sulphur soap but shipping to Europe and customs tax make the price prohibitive. Are your bumps really going away all over? Cos mine get slightly better but at the same time they come up in other places. So I can either have horrible untreated KP on arms, thighs and behind or have slightly better KP on arms, thighs, behind, hips, back and stomach. It's a hard life... By the way, what's the Clearasil cream you're using? |

I'm sorry that it pops up on other places once you start treatment. I use the soap all over when I'm in the shower maybe that helps. The clearasil complete night gel is a small tube and I think it is supposed to be used only directly on the pimple, but I mix it with the cream form the doc. and spread it all over my body. It is sold in drugstores in a little carton box. On the box is posted what ingredients are used. You have to look for sulphur/sulfur. Good Luck! |
