This Board Rocks!

Hi, Ive been lurking these boards for about a month now and finally decided to post. Ive had KP for about 10 years now...Im 31 now and have been to numerous dermatoligists and specialist over the years to no avail. Suprising huh =) Anyways I just wanted to say "Thank you all" for this board and the people here! Thru the use of some of the posts Ive finally found a routine that seems to be working well for me. Sulfur soap is a god send! Ive been using it for about a month now and am virtually bump free for the first time in ten years...woohoo! Im gonna start trying the Oxy stuff to try to fade some of the redness that remains and hopefully this will finally do the trick. I must say that my self esteem has increased ten fold since I found this site and began using the sulfur soap =) So all of ya out there suffering with this irratating condition...Have Faith I belive we are all on to something here! |

Hi, I was just wondering what you used w/ the sulfursoap. Loofah, buff puff, or stiff brush? Also, how bad was your KP? I have it on my arms & legs but my arms are much worse. Are you using any type of moisturizer? Lots of questions, I know, but since you had such good results I am curious to find out your regimen. Thanks!! |

Good for you and I am glad you are having such positive results w/ the S. Soap. I am on my last bar and ordered a 12 pk. I don't think I will stop using it ever. I have been doing the Soap for over 3 mos. and the Oxy for over 1 month now and it has lightened a great deal. Make sure to use a good moisturizer following the Oxy. |

I had KP on my arms, legs, chest and back...pretty much everywhere before I started with the sulfur soap. I used just the sulfur soap once a day when I showered. Didnt use a buff puff or loofah at all. The soap seems to do a fantastic job of smoothing out the bumps on its own for me so I havent messed with the serious scrubbing routine. I just apply the soap all over my body and then just let it sit for a few mins before rinsing it off. This has worked well for me. Others have stated that they like to use a buff puff or loofah to scrub with the soap and thats probably a good method too. Im really amazed at what a good job the soap alone has done and also cant belive that none of the dermatoligists I had been to over the years had reccomended it...they are truely clueless I belive at times hehe. I do have some red blotches still on my skin but am going to be trying the Oxy vanishing cream on those at night to see if that will help with that part of the KP. Overall tho Im very very happy with the results of the Sulfur Soap alone. It has already done far more than I ever expected. Once again thanks to all the great posters out here on this board because if not for all of you and your research I'd still be bumpy and depressed. Hope that everyone here can find some relief thru some of the treatments mentioned. Good Luck to all of you! |
