Love the Pernox
As I have said in previous posts, I was having good results with sulphur soap/SA/Carmol 20, but I was still having a few bumps pop up that I felt the need to pick at and no effect on redness or scars. I started the Pernox on Friday and I can't believe the difference. I am still using the sulphur soap after Pernox and using oxy 10 vanishing cream and lubriderm. I have not had a single bump, the redness is almost gone, and the raised scars are flattened! I have been experimenting with treatments for years and I have not had this much difference in appearance before. I will continue this treatment and hope it continues to work. Maybe I can have normal looking arms before next summer! Thanks to everyone's updates that inspired me to try this. BTW - the lemon Pernox smells as bad as the regular - oh well, nothing's perfect! |

I'm so glad to hear your having such good results w/ this treatment. I was thinking that I was going to be the only one that this worked for(well, I got the treatment from someone else on this site). I stopped the Pernox because my main problem was the red dots and the Oxy has helped that so much. Keep it up and good luck! |

Doesn't using the oxy 10 get expensive? I guess I am thinking of the little containers that regular zit cream comes in.... And is Pernox available at most drug stores? I know I read that somewhere else, but since I already had one question I thought I would throw it in.... lazy Monday..... Thanks! Emily |

The Oxy 10 vanishing cream was $3.59 or $3.89 I think at Walmart - it is small but a little goes a long way. The Pernox was ordered for me by the pharmacist at Walmart $8.55/2 oz. or $17.38/4 oz. and I got it the very next day. I also saw it at CVS Pharmacy $17.99/4 oz. The sulphur soap is still awesome on the bumps, but the Pernox/Oxy is the only thing that has helped the redness or scars. Best of luck. |
