I just wanted to say that I can't believe that I found this website. It is wonderful. I have had KP on my arms for five years now. I have not actually been to a dermatologist yet. I was diagnosed by a Nurse Practioner. She told me that there was nothing I could really do for it and that the good news was that maybe someday I could possibly outgrow it. I also had a problem with my face being red and flushed all the time ( not real severe though, more on the mild side ) so she said that I might have Rosacea. She prescribed me Noritate which I must say has helped a lot. From reading some of these messages I am now thinking that I may have KP on my face. I am pretty sure that I have it on my forehead. Some of you have mentioned that if you have it on your face it is accomponied by redness and flushing. So now I am not sure what is wrong with me; KP?, Rosacea?, or possibly both. I am going to have to get to a dermatologist soon just to find out for sure. Anyway, one thing that I did want to say is that someone mentioned a website recently. It is www.PaulasChoice.com. I just wanted to tell you guys that she has great products. Her cleanser is wonderful. I know that has helped my face a lot. Her products are fragrance free, coloring agents free, and free of all known irritants. I think that this is important. With any skin problem, you don't want any irritation, it will only make matters worse. I have been a fan of hers for two years. This stuff really is good. They are also running a special this month. If you spend $50.00 - you ger $10.00 off. Not a bad deal. I can't wait to try some of your suggestions from this board. I will let you know what works. Thanks you guys! Good Luck to everyone!

Hi Melissa. I'm glad you mentioned the Paula's Choice site (that I'd posted, after reading an article on epinions.com) and that you've used her products AND like them. I was trying to decide for sure if I should try the 2%BHA Lotion that the writer of that article had mentioned. I think that I will now, it's good to know that more than one person recommends her products. I looked at that whole site, and really liked what I saw. Also, I get that "red-faced flushed look" too, and I don't have Rosecea either. I know two people that do have Rosecea, and it 's more like bright red patches, and irritated looking. Mine is KP for sure, it doesn't do like theirs (thank god). Hopefully we'll each find products that work for us all. Good luck to you! KS-with-KP
