Does KP affect the lips?

I have fought dry lips my entire life, but never thought to connect the two. I suppose it makes sense though. I handle it by exfoliating my lips with a washcloth and applying vaseline before bed. I always keep a chapstick close to avoid licking my lips - that is the worst thing you can do.
