PERNOX!!!
I know I posted this before, but I just want to repeat it. Pernox cleanser has given me dramatic results in about a month. Before I was using 10% benzoyl peroxide at night, but I haven't used it in a month. I only scrub with Pernox twice a day the way it instructs you to use it on the label, and moisturize with Carmol 20 afterward. My KP has been gone for 2 months now. You can buy it online from many different places, it's only $18 a bottle (4oz.)and you don't need a prescription. I really want to share this info with everyone here & I hope it helps someone else the way it has helped me. |

Dear 'KP SUCKS': Thank you for sharing about Pernox Cleanser. I totally agree with you. I LOVE IT!!! IT IS REALLY HELPING A LOT!! I read you post from a wk ago or so and I rushed right out to buy Pernox and the Ben Peroxide 10% in Clearasil. I have been having great results too!! I have been doing Pernox in the morning and at night and using the ben peroxide at night coupled with Lubriderm sensitive skin lotion. However, I have also been taking 2000 mg of Vitamin C, Cod Liver Oil, Garlic Oil 1000mg, Vitamin A 15,000 iu, and a multivitamin. I started all of these things a couple wks ago and my KP is practically gone!! I don't know which is helping the most but I feel pretty certain the Pernox is the main helper. I am going to keep using this regimin until the KP is totally gone. FYI: I got a little ahead of myself and put on KARALYT GEL 6% SA after washing with pernox today and now my skin is totally flaky and I can see the red spots coming up again. So, I think the Karalyt gel aggravated the condition for me so I am not going to use that product for now. I think I will just use the Pernox, Carm20 (like you said you're doing now) and the benPeroxide at night. I think the ben peroxide helps with the redness. Anyway, thank you so much for telling your story, I know it has reall helped me a lot and given me a lot of hope about this disease. Rue |

I purchased Pernox cleanser last night but I was concerned when the bottle read "for oily skin". It came in regular and lemon. I purchased the regular - it's blue in color, gritty and has a very medicinal smell. Do I have the right stuff? |
