Has anyone tried a product called Proactiv for their KP?

I've seen a commerical about this new product called Proactiv. It's for acne, but I was wondering if it would work on KP, so I emailed them at their web site and am waiting on a reply. But I thought I would come here and see if anyone here has heard of it or used it before.

Thanks for your help!

Karri

Good question, I never really thought about using it for my KP. My teenage daughter has acne (and minimal KP), and she has used Proactiv for her acne. I can say that if she uses it reguarly, you can definately see the acne clear away. It's just a matter of getting her to use it on a regular basis. Everyone can tell a difference when she uses it. I think I'm going to try the sulfer soap for me (lots of KP), AND for her to see if it helps with her acne. I've seen some posts and articles that have stated some products meant for acne are actually "helping KP". If you get a response back from them and they think it helps KP, I may try it too. I just don't want to try something else that I don't know will help. (Too much money wasted on products that won't help me.) Good luck, and please keep us posted.

I had tried Proactive years back, didn't really do anything for me. They actually had a brochure in the kit with Frequently Asked Questions, and Does it help KP was one of them. The answer was something along the lines that it may slightly improve KP, but is mainly for acne.

Don't waste your money on Proactiv or Murad !

Just more products that don't do a thing for KP, despite what their ads say.
