rubra faciei treatment

Hi, everyone Thnak you to all those of you who have helped me through this condition. It helps so much knowing your not alone. I've been taking 3 capsule called oregamax, and 9 drops under my tongue of a product called oreganol. Oreganol is a medetarranian herb, which is incredibly healthy, and treatment, for sore throats, stuffed up noses, psorias, ezcema, rosacea, and many many other symptoms. Oreganol and oregmamax is so expensive. But I can honestly say this flat out. It had little effect. On the redness. it cleared it up maybe 20%. But when i'm flushed it's terrible. However It literally basically cured the bumps of Kp associated with my rubra faciei. Only the bumps on my face though. The bumps on my arms are still there. But m,y face felt so smooth. and I got many comliments on how much better my skjn looked and how softer it felt. Ponds dry skin cream also helped the smoothness very much so. This is a very hard disease to cope with. I feel bad for all the ezcema , psorias, and rosacea sufferers as well. It is such an embarassing disease. To have redness on the face. I'm afraid to even socialize without someone pointing out my redness. The Kp all over the body must be terrible to god bless all of you. I forget who but somebody told me on this site that the younger age you are. I will almost be 15, soon . the younger you are the more redness will be reduced by the pulsed dye laser. me and my mom are trying to schdule an appointment like this. I also heard photoderm can really help depending on how much money you spend is any of this true. And If so please I'm begging you, is there anywhere in Ontario,Canada where they can have photoderm, v-beam pulsed dye laser? god bless all of you. You will always be in my prayers. and maybe one day this disease will be cured. By all of us involved in this site. The more we use the guess and chekc strategy's with products, nutrition, etc.. The better we have a chance of figuring this whole thing out, God bless you all, mark |

Hi Mark. Please don't waste your time on Photoderm - don't even consider it - no matter what you might hear because it doesn't do ANYTING for our condition. I speak from experience having flown from England to California 5 times for treatment with "the world's premier Photoderm authority!" Definitely look into pulse dye lasers. I had another treatment last Monday with a new laser - the KTP Aura which I had heard good things about and I will know if it has worked in another week or so. I have also noticed one clearer patch on my cheek from a previous laser treatment, but the crazy thing is that I am not certain which one it is from because I've been treated so many times. It's a square patch - 15mm across, so when I go back to my Derm in 2-3 weeks who gave me a lot of treatment several months ago, I hope to be able to find out. This is the first time I have noticed ANY change from a laser treatment, so I am pretty excited. I will keep you posted as soon as I know anything more. In the meantime, hang in there. Treatments will be found! Rick |

Hi Mark. As I don't live in your part of the world I cannot recommend someone to do the laser treatment. You will find some helpful information though by looking at the following site. http://www.angelfire.com/journal2/sadhelp/kp.htmThis site discusses the use of lasers for your condition and shows before and after photos. I had treatment done last year using a candela pulse dyed laser. My cheeks and eyebrows were treated and it certainly helped reduce the redness. I would recommend contacting the Canadian Dermatological Society and asking them if any of their members have treated your condition before using a laser. In New Zealand only two dermatologists had the necessary equipment and of the two only one had treated my condition before. Don't be afraid to ask around as after all it is your money and your face! Best wishes. |
