new here and....anyone use baby wash?

just curious if anyone has tried baby products for cleansers. They are supposed to be the best for sensitive skin, but wondering if they help with KP.

BTW, he has a twin sister who is beginning to show signs of it too, though thankfully not nearly as bad...very mild

It is not cheap, about $10 per 6.8 oz. tube, but I think it helps. It is soap free and can be found at places like Right Start, and even purchased via the web at MustelaUSA.com. The reason I think it works is that we were given Mustela as a baby shower gift and used it instead of the regular Johnsons & Johnsons, etc. from the very beginning. My son got the little bumps on his face that most babies get when they are 2-3 months old and they went away as they doctor said they would. Then for the rest of his first year he really didn't have any problems. Near his first birthday, in February, he started getting slight bumps on his thighs. I started washing him more and more thinking it was my fault for not keeping him clean enough. (Once he was to big to bath in the sink, I started bathing him on once or twice a week, instead of every one or two days.) As I started washing him more the bumps spread to his calves, upper arms. About 3 months after into washing him at least every other day, I ran out of Mustela and switched to the Johnsons & Johnsons I had on hand. Then I really think things got worse. I spent all summer trying to find more Mustela (unsuccessfully) and trying other baby soaps (Gerber). During this time the bumps only got worse and spread to his lower arms and face. I finally did a web search and found Mustela retailers and started using it again. It has not cured him, but frequently the bumps are smoother and less noticiable. I am even thinking about trying it on my KP.

Take heart, that it is likely to calm down on it's own with some time. And at this age their friends don't really notice and they themselves don't care about it at all.
