I had a cyst removed from my chest and my Dermatologist informed me that my skin condition is KP. I guess its not fatal just a fatal image just kidding. I've tried lots of stuff in the past/no luck . I'm on Carmol 20 right now. Can't tell if its working. Does anybody have it on the arms chest buns thighs and legs. It feels like it is spreading as I get older. I'm tired of wearing long sleeve shirts and feeling embarrased at the pool.Swimsuit from the 30s! Oh well.

Hi Matt, I know exactly how you feel, I also have KP on those areas that you mentioned. Recently, it has even started to spread to my back and shoulders. The older(mid-30's) I get the more it spreads and gets worse. There is an 8% glycolic acid bodywash by Glytone that I'm thinking about trying. First, I'm going to try "Brynn's mom" SA/Carmol 20 formula. The only thing is since my KP is all over my body, the potential for SA poisoning concerns me.

hey matt! Read a few posts down from me. I wrote how I use keralyt gel and Carmol 20. But I did forget to mention that I only use Carmol 20 on my legs. I have seen great imrovement on my legs! I only used the lotion on the sides so I could compare it to the front of my legs. Now I use it all over! I only use the keralyt gel on the worst parts of my arms. Mainly the back of my arm and a little on the top below the elbow. Good Luck!!!

From what I can tell, after the kp starts to diminish, you can start using it every other day. Then hopefully use the sal acid less and less and maybe our skin will get used to lotions with other products or washcloths and loofahs will be fine. Who knows... but using all these chemicals can be scary.
