HELP!! Can everyone who's tried Brynn's mom's mixture read this please?

How long before you saw results? Is everyone using a loofah? I also wondered if the loofah was maybe irritating my skin. Who knows? Anyhow, I'd really appreciate any help you guys can give me. But I myself never used products long enough to see any results or not. So I know how it is! I bought the keralyt gel and Carmol 20. I put the gel on first and then the Carmol 20. I started to see some results after a week or so. Then it did get a little worse, but not terribly worse. I have been using it for a month and a half. My skin is now peeling in layers. I think it is due to the keralyt gel. I am going to start mixing the two in a dish to lessen the salicylic acid content then applying. I then use a foot brush because I haven't had time to buy a loofah. But I think the loofah helps shed the skin faster with the sal acid. I still have redness but I also have been forgetting to put hydrocortisone cream on because I have applied regular lotion to help the peeling until it is finished.

I also let myself believe that it gets worse before it gets better and thank god it did get better. Anyway if you look below at the posts. You know what? I'm wondering the exact same thing! I haven't tried it yet, but i've read a couple posts saying that their kp got worse before it eventually got better. I guess the trick is to use it and just forget about it. (except if maybe your skin starts itching or you're getting allergy reactions). Don't check your skin everyday to see if it's better or worse. But i'm wondering how long i should try it for though. Maybe if it doesn't improve after one month, it never will?!?! I don't know...

Don't take my word but I heard your skin renews every 28 days so I would imagine it would take about 1 or 2 months to see good results. If this is true, it seems that as your renews on its own is when you would see most improvement. Just an idea!
