Since I am very fair skinned, I deal with blue under eye circles and I use yellow concealer. From finding out about this, green is supposed to help with redness. I don't know if you could get green concealer, powder, or something to put over the redness and put makeup on over it, just an idea. It also depends on which brand you get. Some didn't work for me. I ended up finding a concealer by Neutrogena that works well, but a bit pricier.

I use the base first then the concealer (clinique advanced concealer) over any red patches that I have. The trick is to get a concealer that is slightly lighter than the base makeup, and blend. I am a make up artist and have learned that using a make-up sponge makes everything blend well. Of course under the base use a moisturizer or astringent if you're acne proned like I am. Good luck !!

Thanks! I think I will try Cliniques concealer. I also have a thing for a free foundation mix at Presciptives so I will see how that goes too. I am not too worried about it right now since it is summer and I have that 'stay at home mom' tan from being outside all day. But I'd like something a little more than what Mac is doing for me right now! So Thanks!

I just tried the Prescriptives Virtual Skin which was quite nice and toned down the redness in my skin. It's Oil-Free also with a SPF 10 in it.

I've also heard that the Bobbi Brown OIl Free foundation is quite good.
