for the French person (and everyone else of course): products in Belgium

went to the pharmatist today with a long list of products and the question whether these were freely available. Got the answer I expected: most products are for acne. Difficult to answer my question because most are ingredients, and % depending on mixed in which substance (cream, lotion, pills...). Only real answer:
- keralyt gel is known to them
- differin gel costs about 9,20 €, also available in cream
- tatracycline is an antibiotics: need prescription
- most products with sulfur are outdated and no longer used. When used, esp for acne, but not in soap-format
They adviced me to inform you that there are some good products which specialize in skin problems and dermatology, and which would be available in France, such as:
- Roc (which I also use)
- La Roche Posay
- Ducray
- Avene
- Lustine
- Louis Widmer
Most of them have a website, maybe you can check there.
Good luck! Birdy

Thanks for all the info. I thought Keralyt was a USA product but I'll definitely try at my local pharmacy and see if they've got it. I've found something called Keracid but it's only got 3% sal. acid in it. I'm trying it now together with a 30% urea cream, so we'll see what the results are in a few weeks. Thanks once again for all the information - you're a real sweetie! Good luck with finding something for the red dots. If I could find something to greatly reduce the bumps, I'd be happy...
