When I have used a loofa I leave it on for about five minutes then buff. Usually I put a little bit more on after because I can see thaT the loofa has absorbed most of it. My mixture is like soup so as to how much I use ... I just stick my index finger into the jar and the mixture coats it. That's about it. Because it's so thin it doesn't feel like a thick layer yet I would say I'm putting on a good quantity.
