HI everyone, I just have a few questions can some one please respond. 1st Nicky for this ponds cream, can you wear any sun tann lotion over it or go swimming . Or will the moisture then be gone? is it still ok to do all that stuff. And rick for the oil or oreganol I put 9 drops a day in my mouth. I'm not sure where you heard on your face. Although you may still be right because my redness in the cheeks has reappeared now. Which is disapointing probably because I'm not putting it on my face. Can you jsut please give me some evidence of where it says use it on your face? and post your results with it please. I can't stand the redness it is sooo embarassing. and is pulsed dye laser any good for rubra faceii? and please tell me i heard it's expensive will insurance cover it? god bless you all |

Hi Mark. About the sunscreen...I dont spend a lot of time in the sunas my skin is so sensitive, but I apply Neutrogena SPF 17 or 30 if I will be ouside...I apply it right over the Ponds after the Ponds has absorbed about 10 min..it's a bit greasy though...also I read somewhere on the net that treating the skin w/ oil of oregano internally or flaxseed oil, cod liver, primrose oil etc.it can take up to three mos. to see resultson the skin..so be consistant..god bless |

Hi Mark. I'm a little confused if you're taking the Oreganol oil orally in addition to the Oregamax capsules. The capsules are another way of taking the oil, so you are essentially taking a double dose of the same thing. I assumed you were using the oil on your face rather than taking it orally since you were already taking the capsules. I know it's easy to get excited when you notice some improvement but most of these things take time to see if they're really making any difference. Unfortunately lasers haven't worked for me at all and believe me, I've tried every type that's available (including pulse dye). They do, however, work for some people but my condition (keratosis pilaris rubra faceii) is marked by hyper-reactive capillaries rather than permanent thread veins which are a lot harder to treat. Sometimes my face can look quite clear and sometimes it's very flushed. I think the best solution is a combination of the right supplements, herbal creams and possibly drugs such as clonidine or moxonodine to inhibit the flushing response. |
