is it just the red dots, or does kp also include inflamation like the pus in zits?

I get breakouts all over that come to a head. I would like to think everything would improve if I stopped the inflamation with stuff like antibiotics or accutane but I'm not sure if these are the same condition, or treated in the same way. The gunk that comes out of the lesions looks the same to me. Its like I got a bunch of little zits all over.


I'm trying to arm myself with info for my next doctors appointment because I don't want to put up with it. I will have insurance and only want to here about starting some all around program to help the condition. thanks for any info!

KP also includes spots that look like zits, unfortunately. Similar to whiteheads, a hard plug. My daughter has both the red bumps and also these hard plug spots. I mostly just get the bumps.

I have red dots, red bumps and bumps that come to a head. I think the thing that differentiates the "white heads" from other conditions is that it contains a hard "ball" inside that has a curled hair. These bumps form around the hair follicle. I hope you find something that works.
