Sugar Scrubs

I love this site!!! I've had KP ever since I can remember on both my arms and face. I thought I had tried everything but I'm very excited to have several new ideas. I have had very good luck with the Sugar Scrubs now on the market, most scrubs make the condition worse for including the salt scrubs. I think the anti-inflamatory properties of the sugar help and the natural oils moisturize well. Unfortunately this does make a mess of the shower or bathtub. Has anyone else tried this?

I've been using it for a while now, and afterward my skin feels great
but most of my concern is the redness; did you say it helped you with redness also?
What kind of sugar scrub you are using? I am using
Osmotic Nordstrom's sells it.

Although I have some redness, because I'm so fair skinned and thus have lots of freckles and moles and have a lot of pink in my skin naturally, its not as big of a concern for me. I have noticed that the smaller my bumps are the less red my arms look in general but there is definitely some pink there.
I have tried several sugar scrubs and have had decent results with all of them but my personal favorites come from skinmarket they have stores or you can order online at www.skinmarket.com , they are also less expensive ($20-25) than higher end brands but I find them indistinguishable from brands like Fresh. They have a variety of scents although I think the brown sugar ones are just slightly better.
I find that I have to use it every day, do have the same conclusion? One other thing, of all the lotions and creams I've tried including prescriptions I find that Aveeno lotion is significantly better than any other. I'm going to try the Brywn's Mom's salicytic acid/ urea combo, to see if that helps
