im just wondering if there are any asians with kp? i am half pinay (philipino) and chinese and white. now my asian half has beautiful skin like a lot of the asians do have (in a way i think they are more educated in treating the skin) but my white side i think thats what screwed me up!! i've never checked and seen if i had kp in my history on that side...i probably do. but ne ways any asians with kp in here? oh ya and has anyone tried natures cure for the body, i used that b4 (the pills and spray) and i saw some results but i havent used it in awhile..i guess that question is mainly for the teens..most of my friends that has acne (not kp) used natures cure for the face and saw results (like 5 of my friends were clear in 2weeks but once they stoped it came right back) so i think the body MIGHT have some sorta effect on kp (for teens)

Concerning the natural products, you mentioned something
called b4 that helped you for a while. What exactly is it and
where did you get it? I've been looking for natural alternatives without
success. Is it usually used for acne and turned out to work temporarily
for your kp? I'm sorry that my reply is more of a question than a suggestion. I'm not asian
and I don't actually know of any natural remedies, but I'll certainly be on the lookout if
I find something and let you know...

I think she meant "before." The product is Nature's Cure. I've heard of it, but I've never used it myself. Here's the website: http://www.naturescure.com/

Hi Kim,
I'm Asian and have KP also. Recently I found out it runs in my family. I have KP on my uppper arms. Right now I'm using Brynn's mom's formula (salicylic acid and Carmol 20). It works good. Since my skin is naturally tan, I don't have problem with redness. But the cream treats the scars (I used to pick the bumps) really well.

Don't blame your "white" side completely. I'm 100% Chinese and I have KP. Both my brothers and my cousin also have it. The weird thing is that the rest of the family (both sides) all have perfectly smooth skin. The 4 of us can't be all adopted. =)
