THIS IS WORKING FOR ME
As I posted earlier I have always had KP at least to a certain degree. I had it in a small area on my legs right above my knees and on the backs of my upper arms. It was so small that you could hardly notice it and I still was able to waer shorts(what a luxury). Last summer the KP went all over my legs. I had just given birth to my Daughter 5 or 6 months earlier. I would not even go in my pool and I in no way wore shorts it was so bad. It has gotten better, around 3 months ago I started using Jergens Shave Minimiziing Cream w/ Soy Protein. It helped some. I did go out to my pool this summer but still no shorts so that the whole world could see how ugly my legs looked. OK last week I started 5 different Vitamins and Tea Tree Oil Lotion from GNC. This past Monday I recieved my order of Sulfer Soap. I have no idea which of these is working for me, I think it is the Sulfer Soap. The KP is going away and normally I would not be posting this so soon (afraid to jinx myself) but it is really going away. I think I may be able to waer shorts very soon! Like I said I started the Vitamins a week ago and they are Flaxseed 1000mg 3 a day, A Multi Vitamin once a day, MSM 1000mg 2 a day,Zinc 50mg 1 a day, Beta Carotene 25,000IU 3 a day. I bought a nail brush by Sally Hansen at Wal-mart, it is very still and I scrub w/ it using the Sulfer Soap and it hurts like HELL, I do it twice a day followed with shaving my legs one of the two times. After getting out of the shower I put on the Tea Tree Oil lotion and I still put on the Jergans too. At bedtime I put on 1% Hydrocortisone Cream. What a big difference a few days has made, I am so happy to report that this is really working for me. Hope it helps someone else. P.S. After scrubing w/ the stiff brush my legs are red and they do hurt but by the next morning they look better and better as the days go on. You will also notice almost as if you popped a small pimple on your face some small red marks but they are the bumps being broken open. Now my legs are really, really smooth and the red little dots I had everywhere are going away, I guess due to the Cortisone Cream. Good Luck!! |

Kim, I am so happy for you! I am glad you found a treatment that is helping. If I remember correctly, if the redness goes away, it's best to lessen the use of hydrocortizone. Or try using it every other day after a while. etc etc. I just received my vitamins, I am not taking as much as you, but it has plenty of betacarotene and L cysteine. I am hoping they will help me also. Good luck with your routine! keep us posted on your results! : ^ ) |

Have you tried this Sulfer Soap yet? If not you have to try it, I don't mean to impose but it's really working for me. I thought it would not work just like all of the other products but it is and i just realized that they have one w/ salicylic acid and sulfer for KP. I just ordered it, it was 3.99. TRY IT! |

I have been seriously thinking about trying it. Right now I have been using tea tree oil soap, and it was helping a little before I bought the keralyt and carmol 20. When I am about to run out of soap, I think I will order the sulfur soap. Thanks for the info and good luck!! |

I called Rite-Aid Pharm. and asked them to order the Carmol 20 me and they did. The soap is only on-line and the address is sulfersoap.com. If you have a problem w/ the address go to the search link at this site and type in sulfer soap and click on Effective Soap Product and click on that address. |

Stiefel makes a sulfur and salicylic acid soap also. Drug stores can order it or you can buy it from at least two web sites that I found. |
