Just thought I'd give everyone an update on how I'm getting on with my Evening Primrose and Cod ?Liver Oil Supplements. It's week 2 now and I have to say a marked improvement in the appearance of my arms, I've got less KP spots and those that are left aren't as red and angry looking as usual and I've got much smoother looking skin.
I'm not sure if it's the supplements alone that's helping as I'm also using exfoliation every morning in the shower, appyling Palmers cocoa butter with BHA's & AHA's straight after, then at night I wipe my arms with a clearsil pad (it's got salicyic acid in it...I'm not nuts!)and then apply some Jolen Hair Reducing formula (which claims to break down keratin). It could be a combination of the lot that's working but I have to say that since taking the supplements it's improved dramatically, my constant dry elbows are smoothing out too where before they responded to nothing. After reading other posts I'm going to start taking some Zinc and Vitamin A too. My legs look better also

I have a silly question, do you mix the liquid with water? I am assuming so, but I just wanted to double check. Plus it will probably tell me on the bottle. You stated you were going to start taking zinc and vitiam A. On one of the posts it says people w/ kp are lacking vitiam A. But it also states to take Beta-Carotene (rather than A) because your body turns it into vitiam A. I would suggest taking the beta-carotene rather than vitiam A.

I've been taking extra high strength cod liver oil, I'd have to check to see exactly what dosage, but it was the highest I could find and I take that in capsule form. The evening primrose I take in liquid form because the highest strength in that that I found was only in liquid form.I take the pharmacy's own brand which is 'Boots'( a UK chain of pharmacy's orginally, but all over Europe now) but I'm sure any brand will do. Someone told me I should have got Seven Sea's as they are the best brand, so maybe I'll try them next.....hope that helps! I can find out the exact dosage if you like..
