I now have it on my lower arms. Has anyone else had this same experience related to pregnancy?

My hubby tells me not to worry b/c it has disappeared within a few months but it is a lot worse this time and I am afraid it won't. And, yes, 2 of the 3 kids have KP. I feel so bad that they inherited this from me. I had no idea what it was until after I had my second child. All my life I just thought it was from dry skin, then Nutrasweet, then stress, then too hot showers, then my laundry detergent... and so on. Now I know what it is and that it's not from something I did. It helps to know I am not alone with this condition. I have never had anyone to talk to about it until now.

I, too, had KP as a teenager, but it faded in my early 20's. (Probably because I kept a tan year-round! ha!) After becoming pregnant with my 1st child, my KP got MUCH worse! In fact, I had only had it on my upper arm, but it spread to my lower arm too. I also developed it on the back of my legs. It has never gone away after my 1st child. I thought I just had to live with it. Now I've had my 2nd child (2 months old) and it has gotten even worse than before! It is soooo noticeable! I read brynn's mom's fiance's msg and am just now trying the carmol 20 and wart remover together. I will let you know how it works if you want to know. :-)

I am having problems getting the SA powder so I tried the liquid but I did something wrong. I am just waiting on a response to see how to do it correctly. I will post the results once I get mixture right and start to use it. At this point though I am really more worried about my baby. I am 35 weeks pregnant and my Kp is worse than ever. I now have it on my forearms.I live in Tx so the heat wont allow long sleeves.I am afraid to treat it with any chemical creams due to pregnancy. I hope mine will fade after pregnancy. I use cocoa butter and Dove nutrium...maybe KP is hormonal afterall?

Yes, please do. Mine, too, has worsened with each pregnancy but it did clear up in between. But it has never disappeared, just less noticeable. -- Laura
