Hey everyone. I have been to 9 different dermatologists and tried LacHydrin, LactiCare, even Triamcinilone ointment. I have tried Neutrogena MultiVitamin Acne Treatment, Lac Hydrin Lotion, taking Vitamin A supplements and Evening Primrose Oil, Dove Nutrium, Loofas, Buff-Puffs and NOTHING has worked so far. I have KP on my arms from the shoulder down to the wrists although it's not as bad on my forearms as it is on my upper arms. I have those red dots all over my legs but have found Kiehls Creme de Corps is the best moisturizer I have used for my really dry legs.I am 23 and would like to be able to wear sleeveless shirts and open back dresses when I go out for the night. I have read EVERY SINGLE POSTING on this message board. I have written down ANY product mentioned. My question now is, is UREA that helpful? And does it really soften your skin that well? I also agree, that we need to do research on KP and we need funding for research. If so many people are affected by this condition, why aren't more doctors trying to help? I say we start the petition and see what happens. We'll never know unless we take that first step. Thank you to everyone who has posted info on this site, helping each other learn about various treatment options (that they never heard of or considered) is a great start.
