I've talked to a GP and Plastic Surgeon about these two treatments. Both agree that Microdermabrasion would work BUT for short periods of time and is VERY costly. This sucks, and yes, we should petition insurance companies to pay for this, or at least part. Someone posted a petition website on here, let's start to post some formats and make it happen!
I strongly believe in the Laser Hair Removal theory coupled with Microdermabrasion to get rid of KP, but it is extremely costly as well.

A company called Dermanew produce an 'at home' microdermabrasion product for $133. According to an on-line dermatologist (I think she is called Dr Kunin?), five to seven treatments at home achieve the same effect as one professional treatment. Dr Kunin recommends this product for KP - may be worth investigating?
