I went out and got the Marie Claire July issue after I read a posting which said there was an article on KP in it. The article offers 2 treatment options: the first Cleocin T & perscription steriod cream (for redness) the woman who tried this said her "arms improved dramatically - they're smoother and clearer" within just one month. The second treatment is Microdermabrasion - "It buffs away the skin's outer layer and reveals the smoother one beneath". The woman who tried it said: "After the first session, the bumps were mostly gone." "After three appointments, my arms are now 95-percent clear...the results could last indefinitely." The cost $750.
I'm going to ask my derm if the two treatments can be used together. If they both are effective then the Cleocin T & steroid cream should only enhance Microdermabrasion - RIGHT?? I'm willing to pay $750 to achieve 95-percent clearer skin. Anyone tried either of these?

I think most of us if not everyone on this board would pay $750 for this! If this works I think our next step is to petition to insurance agencies to cover it. No prob! When I got the mag I was suprised that no one mentioned the out-come of the treatment or Microdermabrasion. I hope it works for me, you & anyone else willing to try it. I'll post my results. Hopefully they will also be uplifting
