I recommend

Hello everyone!

I recently discovered this site and just joined today. Even though I've never been officially diagnosed with KP, I have no doubt that this is the condition I suffer from. I have bumps on the back of my arms (which aren't that bad appearing), as well as on my butt (which are very large and red). I have always hated my condition and have tried many things that have never really worked.
However, I wanted to share my new discovery. I recently purchased tea tree oil because a friend said it worked wonders for her acne. I have been using it for about two weeks on my butt and the results have been amazing! My regimen is to lightly pummace my butt at night and then liberally apply the tea tree oil. (And please don't pummace vigorously because I found that it made mine a lot worse!) The tea tree oil does have a unique smell and your skin will tingle (like with icy hot), but it doesn't stain or ruin underwear and it is so worth a try. My butt is now incredibly smooth and much of the redness has gone away. I really hope these results continue indefinitely. If you are curious to try this, I recommend buying tea tree oil from WalMart (in the vitamin/supplement section) for about $6. I believe its a lot more expensive at health food/supplement stores. Also, do not ingest! Its suppose to be applied topically. I hope this works for you and good luck!

oils

I have a question about sunflower oil, and oils in general. I saw some sunflower oil for sale in a little international food market. It was really cheap but I am sure it was for cooking. My question is if the oil is meant for cooking, does it lose its effectivess if used for skin care?
