Well I'm new to this website but I'm finding all the help and support great. I never realised so many people had the same skin condition as me...
I'm 15 years old, Irish, and have had KP most of my life...I have KPRF quite bad on my face and a touch of UO.
I've been through all those comments from "Why do you look like a tomato?" to "Why did you shave off half your eyebrows?" but I've found that most people once they know me forget about it.
It's amazing on the website how many people are depressed because of the way their skin looks. I'm not a confident person, can be quite shy as well and I'm not denying my self-confidence is lowered by the skin condition but I've gotten used to it and try hard to forget about it (which is not easy..!!)
But I'm here joining forces with the rest of you KP sufferers to try and find a cure and put an end to this skin condition...
