well the turkey and gravy sounds delightful. the rice with pigeon peas on the other hand, must be a puerto rican thing. or just so oldschool "thanksgiving" that we americans have forgotten about it. i had turkey and something that slightly resembled stuffing lol. most of the food was pretty goo though for chow hall food. even had egg nog =] yumm no cranberry sauce though =[ thats my favorite.

WOW thats great!! maybe hopefully itll help me. i was using everything under the sun in my pharmacy to treat it (this was before i knew what it was). THEN i was flipping through a dermatology handbook and VIOLA, the picture POPPED out and i was like "hey thats what I have". then sure enough i confirmed it with our Colonel (our Surgeon). shortly thereafter i found out that was the cause of the redness in my cheeks. THEN i found out me and MR. KP were doomed to live unhappily ever-after. no cure. well wish me luck with the SA. better see if we have any in our pharm

Elsa, I finally found something that helped my kp! About 80% clear! It's called the montell williams health master! It's a blender that blends your veggies so you can eat more veggies and fruit. I drink a smoothie of veggies before every meal, mostly of carrots and spinich. You can add fruit too if it taste to gross. It has cleared my skin so much!!! I'm so exicted bout my new skin, now i can't stop drinking my veggie smoothies!!! Thanks to my lord JESUS and montell williams. Maybe you can pass the word to help others with kp!
    god bless all with KP

Just found this amazing site! I never knew I had KP, I'm so glad I found this place.

I wanted to know if you could post your Recipe foryour "Daily scrubbing with Homemade Salicylic Acid Scrub + Lactic Acid" (this is not the same as the sugar scrub is it?) or even better another one of your great videos!

    Thanks very much!

hey elsa, i'm new to this website. i've had kp and psoriasis for as long as i can remember, and im finally trying to do something more about it. i read that you have psoriasis as well and you got rid of it by 80% but i don't really understand how. do you have it on your head like me?

as to the kp i've never really done anything to help it (the psoriasis i use fluocinonide), but after looking at these forums im going to try some methods and see if any work. thanks for the how-to guide on the oil pulling

Hi Elsa. Congrats on your improvement. I have a question. I know you are busy, but any help would be greatly appreciated. The pics on this site look like me. (the ones with the red spots) I get a mild case of white bumps. The only parts of my body not affected are my hands, feet, and neck. Mine is very itchy. That is how it got diagnosed over20 years ago. Let me clarify that.....I constantly scratched so my mom brought me to a dermatologist. Two of my four children have inherited my KP; though not with the same severity. They also itch like I do. My daughter and I especially itch after baths. It feels like a wildfire. Sweating, rubbing, or water causes it to severely itch. Have you heard of similar cases here and if so can you point me in the right direction? Thank you for your time.....much appreciation from louisiana

    My treatment:
Daily scrubbing with Homemade Salicylic Acid Scrub; soap: homemade vegetable glycerin & essential oils. I always moisturize with organic oils. Omega 3 supplements from Mercury Free Fish Oil. Arms 100% clear.

As of January 2010: My KP has returned but this time on my thighs and a little bit on the sides of my body. Maybe it is stress related or the fact that I left my skin without exfoliating on December.

Also have psoriasis which Derm prescribed for short term use Clobetasol.
As of Jan 2010: I'm back on Clobetasol for a month.

As a scientist, I'm very excited to hear that after a 10-year effort the mouse genome has been finished!

The most often used mammal in medical research is the mouse. This tiny creature help us to better undestrand human illnesses.

It was very important for scientist to decode/sequence all the genes to aid in the fight against human disease.
