I saw a great bit about epigenetics on NovaScienceNOW recently.
"The Greek "epi-" prefix of the word "epigenetics" implies features that are "on top of" or "in addition to" genetics, and the current usage of the word reflects this—epigenetic traits exist on top of or in addition to the traditional molecular basis for inheritance."

It's really fascinating to realize our entire body forms from three essential embryonic tissues. The endoderm, mesoderm and ectoderm. What makes this of interest to those with Karatosis pilaris is the fact that the ectoderm becomes not only your skin, but it is also the source of your brain, spinal cord and nervous system.

It seems to me that anyone suffering from Keratosis pilaris is also suffering from some kind of brain or nervous system related disorder. Does anyone agree or disagree...
