I'm new to this site as well but I've had this skin condition for as long as I can remember. I'm 26 now and tired of looking at other people and wishing I had their skin or I could use open tops and strap less dresses. What's worse is that I live in Durban, SA so beaches are pretty much the in thing and the weather is hot all year round.

I just want clear managable skin and I'm thinking of going to a dermatologist but after what I've read on this site, I don't think they have a cure or they're any closer to any solutions.

My question is, where do I start? What should I use? Sulphur soap? AHA lotions? Natural solutions? I do use clearasil which is helping a bit but what else can I do?

I just want the spots gone, and want normal Indian skin.

Most of you guys seem to have done your home work about this topic so I look forward to your suggestions.

I have it on my chest, back, sides and arms.

I don't want to use harmful products that may thin my skin or cause more spots.

Welcome to the KP Forum. There are so many different remedies, some that work for one person, but don't work for another, some expensive, some not, some natural, some chemical. I suggest you do as much reading as you can, and then find a remedy that appeals to you. Please let us know what you try and if it helps.
