Hi - sorry didn't see your last post!

Mmmmm - hard to tell about the laser and it is all double dutch to me (excuse the pun).

When it comes to your skin, and especially your face I personally would prefer to stick with something that has been tried and tested.

Candela and v-beam have been around for a long time and have a proven track record. I have never heard of this other model.

I just did a quick google of Cynosure v-star: photogenica v-pulsed-dye-laser and only got 6 returns however when I googled candela v-beam pulse dye laser I get over 2000.

Personally I would stick to the v-beam if you can find someone in your area who has this.

PS: I did note that this machine was more competitively priced for Drs to buy however cheaper does not always mean better.

Re: really need advice what to do

price is good, and its a PDL, maybe there are no derms in your area with a candella, but I had 7 treatments with great results with PDL, done once a month and it was a lumenis machine. make sure the derm keeps the JOULES at 7.0 OR 7.5 , and using a 10mm spot size. also PDL is V-beam.

why u waiting untill fall ?

Re: really need advice what to do

Thanks for the replies guys!!! I've been travelling..so sorry for my late response!

the derm advised me to wait untill fall becuase me skin should be very pale...but summer has been really bad here and I haven't really tannend on holiday so maybe I can go with it sooner..There are practicers with the candela model here..in the hostpital they have one but treatment there is way more expensive than in a clinic..I just cant make up my mind..since it is my face..I'm going to do a chemical peel just like missliss and if that isn't working than laser is the last option but I'm afraid to go for it..

what if it wont work..or what if something goes wrong..I heard some terrible stories....

I really want to get rid of this..I'm sick of hiding my skin underneath layers of make-up....

btw what do u guys think of the price? another clinic I know of has candela and it was about the same price..maybe holland is cheap!

Re: really need advice what to do

a chemical peel will most likely just irritate KPRF, also u wont be able to get a laser treatment done after a chemical peel for a couple months.
