Can anyone help me?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a doctor to visit in NJ or the surrounding areas that can do V-Beam or PDL to get rid of the redness?
I'm gonna save up my money but I want it to work Also can someone break down what exactly I would need? I just want to get of the redness, that's it and stop the flushing. |

not sure, but ratemydoctor.com might give you an idea of some good doctors in your region.. Cetaphil's website also has a look up for dermatologists and it is zip-code based. |

It was actually really useful because I went to the some of the doctors on there But I want someone's opinion from someone that has what we have and went to a doctor and got the procedure done and worked So does anyone have a doctor they went and did the procedure with? |

Re: Can anyone help me?
Well this is probably not going to be that helpful as I don't really know exactly where in America NJ is
(sorry live at the bottom of the world)I just hate to see someone asking for help and not do something! Anyway I do know that Washington has had one of the most progressive dermatological laser institutes when it comes to laser research. They were one of the ones to first research how PDL could help KPAF. The medical journal article on their research can be found here: Periodicals Home I checked the web and this looks like their website is: Welcome to the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society Like I said this may not be that helpful as it comes from a NZer who doesn't know a heck of a lot about America. Maybe they could recommend some closer to your home??? maybe not. |

Re: Can anyone help me?
Dumb out, I dont know if ur in north jersey or south jersey, but here is a link for dermatologists in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
if u use the search engine u could put where in jersey u are and find one closer to home, but closer does not always mean better. some derms have websites also, but click on the link u will figure it out. ![]() U can call the offices listed and ask what kind of lasers and services they offer, because not all derms are cosmetic derms some are just general dermatology and dont have lasers in the office. dont bother with telling the secretary on the phone if the doctor treats KPRF, because they wont really follow u, its better to make an appointment with a derm and if u like his manner and he is experinced with PDL and IPL get a price, u have many derms to choose from. and u can make an appointment with the derms untill u find one u want. http://city.ask.com/city?where=new%20jersey&what=dermatologist&mode=bi z&qsrc=&o=0&l=dir Last edited by jason1901; 03-31-2008 at 07:59 PM. |
