Exclamation if you've had success with lasers plz read.

It's been a while since i posted anything on here. but i can't hide from this skin condition, and so i'm brought back to where my knowledge of this started. recently i realised for myself how unhelpful and selfish dermatologists are. i mean whats the point in them anyway??

anyways. i was wondering if anyone can help me. i posted two pics on here and i'm just wondering if any type of laser will help at all...i aint expecting no miracle. thanks people, you know i need a social life.

hey bro,

you look about the same age and about the same severity of KPRF as me. I am booked in for my first pulse dye laser (PDL) treatment on thursday, it appears to be the only thing that has shown to work.....i suggest you look into it, what area are you in?

try paxil 20mg, while ur waiting to find or get PDL done or you can do nothing while ur waiting. even PDL takes about 2 treatments before u see improvement. I get mine done once a month now for 2 months, next one is march 13th. get a prescription for paxil from ur doctor 20mg and try it for a week.

flushing and blushing cure! Paxil-Prozac-Lexapro

I'm going to see my GP on friday Jason, i'll ask him then. Even if he puts me on 10mg, i'll just take two and when i see him for a re-prescription i'll tell him 10mg weren't strong enough.

thats what I did, realizing 10mg was not enough. what I do now is have my Doc write me a RX for 20mg twice a day, so it lasts me 2 months instead of 1 month, because thats 60 pills but only 1 a day.

u may feel a little tired the first few days and yawn more often but it passes, its the anxiety leaving ur body. I take mine at night 2 hours or so before bed, becuase its possible it can make u a little drowsy at first, so I take before I go to sleep.

i'm using in on my face and arms to keep my skin moisture. I doubt it will help the redness, but it might help my skin texture.
i'm starting Paxil on friday or saturday, depends if i make the pharmacy before it shuts.

Khrissy, I tried the coconut oil thing to before, no big deal with it. but try try this and this is what I do all the time now, before shaving ur face, wet or shower first ur face then apply VASELINE with a little water all over beard area, then apply a shaving gel (non-fragrance) like Aveeno shaving gel on top of the VASELINE and shave with warm water. continue doing that when u shave, and u will see that ur skin will be softer and better and not as irritated after shaving.
