So I have it on my upper arms real bad and since having my last son, it has started to spread to my back. I have had it for as long as I can remember, but only recently noticed my back getting it.

And I pick. I can't stop sometimes. I get tweezers and just try to get rid of it, which only makes it show up worse.

I am using AmLactin (ammonium lactate) but not regularly. I have noticed a decrease in the bumps, but not in the redness.

Am I making it worse by picking?

umm, yeah, picking anything is bad.
