I'm 31 and have had a mild red mask look my entire life. It gets worse with temp changes, sun/wind exposure and contact. My outer half of my eyebrows are also affected (Ulerythema ophryogenes, you can visit my posts in that section).

Long story short: I tried the creams and ointments for 3 months with no effect. I went in for IPL (gentle laser) and it did nothing. I went in for PDL (bruising laser) and it actually made my face and eyebrows redder (it's been 4 weeks now). Plus the hair isn't growing back as much now on the eyebrows (I'm using Minoxidil and had good success after they shaved the latter half for the IPL treatment). I can't believe it had a reverse effect after reading that study online where everyone improved. They hit me hard too and I had bruising and swelling for a week. I need some help...anyone have any other suggestions or comments? I can't take more vacation time this year for another PDL hit, and I don't want them to have to shave my outer eyebrows again in order to get the best contact for the laser as they have done...lost and looking for help in a sea of red...
