Nasivin (oxymetazoline) / Sansrosa
Some say: In the sansrosa product wil be some type of oxymetazoline. This now expanded abstract suggests that oxymetazoline is effective for up to 6 hours after application and no side effects have been seen after 3 months usage. Oxymetazoline is a related compound to that which forms the basis for the sansrosa product.
Did someone try Nasivin (or other generic form) on his hot red cheeks? It contains oxymetazoline. Some say it wil get rid of the flushing and burning. I don't know about adverse effects? |

Re: Nasivin (oxymetazoline) / Sansrosa
Sansrosa is 0.18% brimonidine tartrate facial gel.
Oxymetazoline is the active ingredient in several eye drops. Oxymetazoline is classified as a alpha-1 Adregenic Receptor Agonist, whereas COL-118/Sansrosa is a alpha-2 Adregenic Receptor Agonist. You can see more information here is a post I put together to compare the 2 ; Sansrosa’s sister to enter redness race davidp. |
