Re: my kprf
you CANNOT get brand name Paxil! only generic, even if your prescription from a MD says "brand neccasary" I tried and I have very good insurance which covers almost everything. the reason is because after a brand name med becomes available in generic forms, then thats pretty much all thats available.
I take Paroxetine HCL, made by PAR (oval white pill/ PAR 877) is the insription on the pills. there is not many generic paxil so most likely u will get this too. but your in Canada Im in the US, and with your health care over there u might get brand name. I hope u are getting a prescription from an MD, and not buying it online ! |

Re: my kprf
paroxetine HCL is short for paroxetine hydrochloride, that is what I take.
yeah, 10mg did not work for me so I started 20mg daily and stayed that way since DEC 07 to current. I take 20mg at night a few hours before bed, because it might make u feel tired at first for a couple weeks because u will be more relaxed , so taking it at night before bed corrects that. |

Quote:
Paroxetine HCL 20 mg daily. made by Par Pharm oval white par 877 (description of pill as written on bottle) sometimes when I went for a refill, the make of the paroxetine was different and I noticed it didnt work for the flushing/blushing, so I always make sure when I call that its the exact make in the Rite Aid. in other words not all generics are the same, but this specific make works for me, but other makes of the paroxetine HCL does not. why dont u see if u can get this make, listed above in bold. |

Re: my kprf
Adam,
like I said above Rite Aid pharmacy, but I dont know if u have rite aids or CVS in canada, the main thing is whatever pharmacy u get it at, before u get the Rx filled and pay for it, call ahead and see if they carry the manufacturer listed and make, if not try another pharmacy until u find it, ask for : : Paroxetine HCL (20 mg daily.) made by Par Pharmacy oval white par 877 (description of pill as written on bottle) If ur MD writes u a RX for 20mg 2 times a day, thats enough for 2 months, because u will only take 20mg 1 time a day leaving u with an extra 30 pills for another month, before refilling ur Rx. get it! |

Re: my kprf
Adam,
Everyone has thin skin around the eyes. And it is common to be able to see the fine blood vessels near the eye. I can see blood vessels, too, but I never thought anything of it. If you look at your friends' eyes closely, you will probably see blood vessels around their eyes. While this is not a defect, the only solution would be make-up, which I don't recommend, because so much make-up has unhealthy, chemical ingredients that can be absorbed by the skin. My recommendation would be to accept it as part of the human body. As to the purple eyelids, what is your over-all complexion color? Are you very fair? I actually have a brownish-purplish rim on my eye lids, caused by the little blood vessels showing through the skin. Again, this is something I just accept as part of me. Because the skin is so thin and delicate around the eyes, it is advised not to rub that skin, and for women, if you wear eye make-up, to apply it very gently so as not to stretch the skin and cause wrinkles or sags. kebod |
