Does it stop the blushing/flushing completely? Does it change your mood? Anyone have bad side effects?

Re: my kprf

I'm thinking of trying minoxidil for my eyebrow loss, just wondering if I would need a prescription for it? or where could I buy it?

Re: my kprf

no presciption, buy anwhere like walmart type stores or rite aid, or whatever they have in canada. but most likely will not work! minoxidil works on a different type of hair loss, try aquaphor by eucerin for ur eyebrows, it heals the skin, takes away the flakes and redness, its like vaseline.

www.eucerin.com look for AQUAPHOR healing ointment.

Re: my kprf

Thanks for answering my questions man, u have an answer for everything lol...just got minoxidil 2% and eucerin calming creme, couldn't find the aquaphor anywhere. I've been taking evening primrose oil for about a month and don't notice any difference in the blushing/flushing. My blushing/flushing is usually constant all day, at best it's a slightly warm and tingly feeling, other times it feels like my face is on fire around my cheeks and eyebrows. Just wondering how bad was your blushing n' flushing before you started paxil?

Re: my kprf

my flushing/blushing felt like a heat wave hitting my face when it was hapening, if Iwas in a cold enviorment outside or whatever, in a hot room or in the sun, or when going from the cold into the heat, and I was always flushin/blushing. but no more with paxil 20mg daily, Ive been flush/blush free for 6 months since been on paxil20 mg daily, try it !

minoxidil is most likely not going to regrow hair in ur eyebrow hair, but the aquaphor might help by changing the skin there from messed up back to normal by moisturising it very well. minoxil is for a different type of hair loss, and it complicated with hair loss from KP, KPRF, also you are most likely to irritate the hell out of your eyebrows with minoxdil!!

Re: my kprf

Your quick man lol, thanks for getting back to me so soon. I'm going to make a doctors appointment tomorrow. The constant blushing and flushing is the worst part of it... can't tolerate it anymore.

Re: my kprf

NO, dont !

Go with PDL treatments for redness with 10 mm spot size (size of the lens that treats your face) and 7.0 - 7.5 joules ( amount of energy treating your face) and u wont bruise. find a dermatoligist who is a cosmetic dermatologist with IPL and PDL machines at his office. I had PDL done once a month for 6 months, works great with every treatment the redness lessens. I take paxil 20mg daily at night before bed which completly stopped the flush/blush, and gets rid of the anxiety, no problems!

you can get a prescription for paxil and try it, how old are you ?

Re: my kprf

I'm 21, I should be able to get a prescription for it. I don't think the permanent redness of my skin would be too bad, so if this works maybe I'll go for the PDL treatments with the settings u gave. thanks man

yeah, but it would take a really long time to treat, probably a couple hours, and about 3-4 treatments of that. not to mention it will probably cost u near $ 5,000 to treat the amount of KP on a persons body. I never heard of anyone considering IPL for body KP!

dont worry about body KP, as it is going to be there for a good while of ur life. u can lessen it by washing with a good moisturizing soap and a loofah. thats about it.

IPL hair removal got rid of the KP bumps and hair for good on my cheeks, now nice smooth hair free cheeks, like before puberty is the way they look.
