New KP sufferer

Hello, all!

I'm a 24 year old male who has had KP all his life. It seems to be hereditary as my brother has it as well. It's always been something that's ruined my self worth and made me fearful of intimacy. I know guys don't have the same beauty standard women are forced to live up to, but KP is too hideous for me to ignore. I have it on my arms, legs, and it seems to be expanding to my shoulders and chest.

I have the red face as well. I'm thankful it isn't roseasa, but I've taken alot of insults because of it in school. I wear foundation to lessen the effect, which I guess makes me a Metrosexual

So far I've tried over exfoliating my skin with those bath stones. That makes a little difference once the skin heals. I've also tried the bump smoothing lotion from Neutrogena.

But NOTHING improves the appearance. I'm thinking of trying a peel next.
