Re: Evening Primrose Oil diminished my KPRF
There isn't too much more to tell then what I posted already. I began to notice an improvement the first few days... I was flushing less, and some redness in my face was gone. I never completely stopped flushing, and the permanent redness is still there, although I feel like it's a little less red. I've been taking a bigger dose, 1000mg a day, then what was recommended.

Re: Evening Primrose Oil diminished my KPRF
That's the recommended dosage on the bottle. And from what I read, it's hard to overdose on omega 3. You'll notice symptoms first, and even then it's nothing serious. Thanks for the concern though.
Anyone else have somewhat mild results from supplementing evening primrose oil? Tanaka, could you tell me the brand of evening primrose oil that you were using? Thanks. |

Is evening primrose the same as omega 3-6-9?

Re: Evening Primrose Oil diminished my KPRF
I've been taking 1g a day for a few days, can't say I've noticed any difference yet, but to be fair my face is never that red unless I do exercise or drink heavly. I haven't blushed or flushed yet so I can't really tell if thats working, but I'll let you know! I'll be doing some exercise later on, I'll see if I notice anything then.
I did notice I've been in a better mood since taking it, maybe thats just in my head though! How long did it take for anybody else to notice any difference? |

That was the first thing I noticed after I started taking it. That I hadn't flushed in the past few days, that my triggers didn't hadn't caused flushing, that I didn't feel my cheeks, and that generally my cheeks weren't on my mind any more. To all reading this: Please post your experiences if you try this!! If it doesn't work, then we can put it to rest and look for other things (and I can think more about what helped me then) But, if it does work, telling others your positive experience is how to help them, by convincing them to try it! Re: Evening Primrose Oil diminished my KPRF
Okay so I've been taking 1g every day for 5 days now. Im starting to see slight improvements. My eyebrows permenant redness is subsiding quite a lot, and I've only blushed or flushed about twice since taking it.
I even noticed that my face wasn't as red even after been in a sauna, which was the first time I actually noticed any difference. I'd usually stay bright red for about 1 hour after the sauna, but my face pretty much went back to its usual colour after 10 mins. I think it's beginning to work, which is quite nice considering I've only been taking it 5 days, and its hassle free. I've had no bad symptoms as of yet, just slight improvement, so It's going quite well. I bought my primrose oil for £23.00, $46 dollars ish? For 500 capsules. I bought it from a sports company on amazon which I've used for other supplements before. |

Re: Evening Primrose Oil diminished my KPRF
I've been taking 1000mg a day thus far for 3 days. I have not noticed any improvement, and I can only guess that the alleged Tanaka badly misdiagnosed himself with KPRF and shattered our hope by leading us on to useless oil. Thank you, and I'm not just saying that.
By the way, I did however notice some sort of erectile dysfunction resulting from the substance. No other progress has been observed. It seems the substance is rich in omega-6, so I am going to take 3 and 9 as well. |

Re: Evening Primrose Oil diminished my KPRF
I took the whole foods brand 500 mg primrose oil twice a day for a month and it dramatically reduced the overall redness. Then about 1 1/2 weeks ago I finished that bottle and instead bought the gnc brand evening primrose only because the gnc is right by my home. That turned out to be a mistake. For some reason the gnc brand did not work like the whole foods brand primrose, and my face wasn't as clear as before.
So yesterday I purchased the whole foods brand again and can already see an improvement. Like I said I have been taking 2 capsules a day but I think I can take less and still see the same results like Tanaka is doing. I have yet to see any negative side affects since taking the evening primrose like Tanaka had mentioned in the 1st page. |

Re: Evening Primrose Oil diminished my KPRF
And another thing for those who after 1 week say that have not seen an improvement. It took me atleast 2 to 2-1/2 weeks to really see an improvement in my face. At first I flushed less and then the redness started reducing.
I think initially people should take 2-3 capsules a day until they see an improvement, and then start taking less. |
