Was just wondering what KPRF is without the actual kp bumps on the face? is it still considered the same condition...or maybe just RF o.o? Because i have no bumps on my face, and have no problem growing facial hair. Guess i just lucked out because i actually have some kp bumps on my neck hmmm

I didnt get the bumps untill my 20's, but always had the redness since I was 13-14. I never had a problem growing facial hair, but as the bumps were there for a a few years my beard area (cheeks) when shaving would always get irritated, because ur not only shaving hair ur going over KP bumps and aggravating them. I just wrapped up 3 IPL hair removal treatments on my cheeks only, and it got rid of the bumps and hair, nice and smooth skin there and never have to shave my cheeks! now doing PDL for the redness 2 tretments so far and good improvement my derm uses the stacking method, next one is march 13th. KP, KPRF, UO, KPAF are all a range of disorders. example plain KP is plugged follicles and inflammation, KPRF is the same also with a lymphocytic infiltration and effects the vessels.

oh great......well I am 18 now so doubt the bumps will come now. Guess just have to hope for the best xD

I have had major flushing problems for 1 year and 8 months. My face has had significant (although it hasnt always been too bad) redness for 5 years. The bumps appeared about 6 months ago and I will be turning 19 in a month.

So I suppose the bumps can come later.

But i have had facial hair since i was 15-16...hmm guess i will have to keep a lookout for the bumps.
