Re: Flushing and Blushing treated with Paxil (paroxetine)

I never thought of using paxil to cure my flush/blush, I did not want to have to take a medication for anxiety due to flushing/blushing, I read everything about paxil that people keep posting negative before taking it, I could not see how paxil would help me if it was going to stop the anxiety, but still be red. well sure enough after taking it the anxiety was gone, the flushing/blushing was gone. theres not much more for me to keep posting about paxil, after 24 pages of this thread and over 16,000 views, this I think should be a STICKY on top of the page, but then again its not up to me.
anyway to everyone!

Jason,

You may have noticed that recently several threads that had stickies no longer have them. Elsa, our administrator, is trying to make the forum more organized. All threads can be easily found by opening up a forum, such as "General Discussion" or "KPRF". Then anyone can see all the thread topics.

What are the chances of a 16 year old getting Paxil?

Edit;
9 December 2004 European Medicines Agency (EMEA), i.e. the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP), informed patients, prescribers and parents that paroxetine should not be prescribed to children

Re: Flushing and Blushing treated with Paxil (paroxetine)

Wow this thread is still sort of alive! Awesome. Let me just say that I only have KP on the back of my arms and I never new that it was linked ti flushing in the 1st place. I DO however have pre-rosacea symptoms with a mild seborrheic component but the social flushing has been completely controlled by taking the SSRI Celexa.

Now I will not lie, I still flush if I am extremely embarassed or really hot but thats also how it is for everyone. I used flush uncontrollably in public which was REALLY depressing because I am a very sociably person.

Let me just say that I drink heavily on the weekends and for about 3 str8 weeks I smoked the kron daily and the only side effects I have experienced are more vivid dreams and slight weight gain.

Thats it. I can get completely ****faced on Celexa and I'm fine. I cannot vouch for the other SSRI's but I really feel like my old self in social situations and the fact that I have moved to a completely new state and college and yet I have made so many friends already just proves that it has really helped my self-esteem and personality.

none.

after PDL treatments I just leave my skin alone for a few days, I usually wash it 2 days after treatments, so wash your face before a PDL treatment. there are no major precautions after PDL treatment except do not get any exxcessive sun exposure where u are treated for a couple weeks.
also its not surgery, its a 15-20 min cosmetic laser treatment that should be done by a derm, and not a cosmetic beautician.
