flush once in a while literraly , but its not bad and its mainly the feeling but no color involved,and about a couple minutes or so.

Im not a big drinker as I have grown out of that, and it does not matter because I take my paxil before bed, not at a time when I would be drinking. and If I was that drunk I would propbally forget about taking it before bed, or I wouldnt take it untill the following night. I do miss a dose here and there, with no problems. but what is it with all the people and the drinking questions, there is a ton of drugs that are labeled "dont drink alcohol" with. I mean you sound worried u might never get drunk again.

As i usually take my drug between 7-9AM, do u think i'd be alright to drink in the evenings ?

Im not worried about not getting drunk, its just i do like to go out for a social session every few weeks and have a few beers (usually too many) lol.

Do you think tha I should be able to control my blushing and flushing on 10mg a day? Thats what Im starting on soon after my last Final and I hope that it will be enough. I can always double up but if I could get away with the lowest dose that would great.

10mg is what I started on for a couple weeks and did not do nothing for me, so I take 20mg instead which works great!

I guess, but that probally explains the flush/blush u said u get around 9-10am, u need to take it around the same time everyday, try to be consistent. thats why I take my paxil at night before bed, since the day and everything is over, and u are good the next morning and throught the day since its already in ur system from the night before.

I think dosages can depend on a lot of different things. Personally i take 30mg.

How would i change to take it at night ?

For example today i took it at 9am this morning...

Should i take one tonight at 10 pm, or leave it till tomorow at 10pm ?

Whats the difference between Paxil and Celexa? I just recently found out my Mother has been taking Celexa for a while now for her OCD. Is Paxil better or paxil CR?

B, some questions are better answered by a doctor, celexa is another form of paxil type medication.
Paxil CR is controlled release, but my doctor told me regular paxil is better as its a constant flow of med then Paxil CR.

Paxil has the most effectivness on anxiety issues, for me KPRF, and is the first of its kind, other similar types of meds to paxil came out after Paxil. I dont research other meds, as Im fine with Paxil.

Yes i am taking Citalopram.

I think its going well.

First 3 days i felt awful. I wasnt myself ,felt completely out of it, couldnt drive properly, no concentration, nothing. Had some crazy thoughts in my head.

But since then, its going well.

I just went for a 20 minute walk in the blazin sunshine and i have no flush. Just my permanent redness which is actually going down i believe.

I'll stick with the Citalopram , maybe i'll switch to paxil next month but i dont see any reason to yet.

As i take mine in the morning, hopefully i should be OK to drink in the evening on the odd ocasion.

I know Khrissy3000 said the same thing about the jeat and weather with no more flushing/blushing, that was one of the first things I noticed too, but in cold weather since starting paxil in December 07. do u notice no more waking up with one side of ur face redder any more?

There is still redness but i hope that will eventually go away.

Yes indeed my face is not flushed when i wake up and both sides are about the same redness which i cant complain about.

How long can you take these meds for ??

the redness will go away, but with PDL treatments!
