I've noticed that the fewer showers I take the better my kprf seems to be (to a point). Also, a few days ago it was really hot so I sprayed some water mist on myself with a spray bottle. Then I decided to see if the mist could somehow make my kprf better. well after three days I can safely conclude that the water made it much worse. I did some online research and apparently it's the layer of keritin in skin that makes it impervious to water. Kprf sufferers don't have enough keritin, so our skin is affected by water. So I was thinking that maybe a common oil's hydrophobic properties could help kprf. Has anyone tried putting oil on their face?

...grape seed oil a lot. Also jojoba. It works great as a non-irritating moisturizer in the winter time. Doesn't seem to effect the redness though. I've been wanting to try emu oil because it is supposed to be a great penetrant and most like our natural oils. It's hard to find though. Pretty much only available online. I went to a Whole Foods store and asked if they carried it--I was nearly run out of the place. I'm guessing the extraction of the oil doesn't really work out for the emu.
