I'm new this board and I'm really glad that I found out that I'm not alone. I'm a little confused of what my condition exactly is. I have kp on my buttom, lower and upper arms, a little bit on my back en I have it on my cheeks, chin and eybrows. When I was little it used to be very red, but now it seemed to have calmed ( I use a product of Lush and this helped the redness). But the kp on my eyebrows have not caused the hair falling out and what I read about Ulerythema that the fall out. And my redness isn't as red as al the photo's I've seen of rubia faceii. So can anybody help me with my diagnose?? I've already been to an dermatologist and he sad it was just KP.

I have had a hard time getting my son diagonosed. Most dermatologist seem to know of kp, but not so much all the different variations. It sounds like you may have all the forms - KP, KPRF, and KP ulerythema. My sons KPRF doesn't seem to be as red as many of the pictures. Do you have white spots in the middle of the redness. Do you use anything to help control the redness?

I don't have have the white spot's and my cheeks have also never been that red as the photo's I've seen. Right now my cheeks are not red at all, only if I go outside in windy/ cold weather. I wash my face 2 times a day with Herbalism from the Lush. Lush makes fresh handmade products, everything is very natural and I like that, especially for my face. and it really helps to calm my cheeks. What also helps against the redness is Epilyt lotion.
