acid peel

Anybody has tried chemical (acid?) peel performed in dermatologist's office?Any results?I think that the redness isn't caused by vessels but inflammed follicles so the way to decrease the redness is to unplug the follicles.

Hi,

For 4 months I've been trying to get rid of the red cheecks, and it is getting better now. The redness is more pink and I have patches of normal skin getting bigger and bigger. I hope the redness will fade even more as I go on with the treatment. I combine microdermabrasion with IFL, Intensified Flash Light. The microdermabrasion takes care of the bumps, the IFL of the redness. So I think that the redness of our cheecks is caused by damaged blood vessels, because if I only do the peeling, the redness remains. But if I do the IFL also, I can see everytime I had a treatment, the patches of normal skin getting bigger and the redness getting pinker.

I know this can be very frustrating...

Hi there , I assume IFL is the same as IPL ! If not what is it ? Also i had a consultation a few weeks back and am going to try veinwave ,but not to hopeful . The consultant said the redness is caused by irritation under the skin as the pores have no way to release the keratin , it would make sense that micro abrasion would help to unblock these and therefore reduce the irritation . Good luck and keep us informed .

Yes, IFL is the same technique as IPL. Veinwave? That sounds painful... Maybe (if you have the possibility) you should try the IPL/IFL first? This helps me and my red cheecks. Good luck to you!
