Yes, its definitely genetic. And yes, you are probably right, a heart fix will probably not fix the redness. But one thing is for sure, me and other with KPRF more easily gets red when they are tired. I can see a significant difference in redness and I am much more sensitive to flush/blush when I'm tired.
And för about two weeks ago I had a fever, or a beginning of a fever, and my redness were out of control, I started to blush and flush for almost nothing.

So I believe that the physical condition plays a big role for the KPRF.
A heart fix and some cardio excercise would improve my physique, so who knows, it might reduce some redness/flush/blush.

But it's a big surgical opreation and there is some risk also.

I'm feel ok today, but one day I will have to do an operation, and since I live in Sweden I probably will have to wait until I'm 60 years and half dead(there's no private hospitals) and then I'll die during the operation because I'm too weak. lol ;D.
But I will have to have an operation, so why not do it when I'm young and have a stronger body etc.

I wonder what it would cost to do it in the US, a million or two?

In 2000 my open heart was over $80,000. I did have insurance that paid 80%. Yes I was advised by my doctor to get the surgery when young I was 38 and my health was going down hill. I came out of it feeling much better but still have the KP. PP

Hmm okay, do you have red cheeks or only KP on arms etc?
Okay, what exactly did they fix with the operation?
what heart disease do you have/had etc?

I had Mitral Valve Prolapse my valve gave completely out; I also had a large hole in my heart that was not seen by the doctors until 2000 and I was born with it. They did a valve repair and placed a plastic support around the valve and patched the hole in my heart. PP
