Anyone here try aloe vera?

Just out of curiosity last week I bought this aloe vera gel made by Fruit of the Earth shown here :

http://www.drugstore.com/products/pr...-PLST-0-SEARCH

It is supposed to be 100% aloe vera gel with no added alcohol as a bonus. Aloe vera is usually used to help alleviate sun burns, irritation, dried skin, etc... I bought it after reading some of the great reviews. Anyway, upon putting it on this stuff I found it soothing as hell, I mean like diping your head into ice cold water kind of soothing. The awesome effect eventually wears off, but I think this product is great nontheless for anyone that has KPRF because it is a cooling agent and a moisterizer in one. I have only been using it for a few days and it's better than 99% of the other things I've tried for this condition. It's also VERY cheap, so there's not much to lose

So, I don't know if this will actually help the redness in the longrun but it is without a doubt the most soothing product I've yet to try. Anyone have similar experiences with this product?

Hm, you should definitely try it sometime. To me it has been very helpful when I have irritation that just won't go away, but otherwise it's just a little too drying for regular use. I use it on the rest of my face though and I like it very much for that. For a moisterizer I still think Jojoba oil is the best
