Now dairy I could handle eliminating... in fact I already have. But wheat/gluten? I couldn't imagine what that would mean as far as the changes I would have to make. That's just mind-boggling that some of you have actually begun those kind of changes -- especially for a young guy like myself where I'm constantly hungry.

Actually after some tests , it turned out I suffer from deficiency in certain vitamins as well as allergy to eggs ( yolk + albumin ) , so i've tried to cut off the eggs ... but not completely. I'm not using any creams either ... so far the "burning" sensation has almost disappeared ( except in very rare occasions during which my cheeks burn for a few seconds and then are restored ). I'm able to stay in the sun for more than 30 mins without any problem , it seems to be good till now . I also noticed I can eat spice as much as I want ( well I'm a spice-lover anyway ) without any flushing or increase in redness on my cheeks. I will report later ....

Beard

The most facial hair I have is tiny little white/trasparent fibers that poke out of my KPRF bumps. Hehe, I wouldn't look good with a beard anyways.

Here is another problem I encountered. My skin is very smooth after I used some prescibed acid creams, but then I used the Aveeno Daily Redness Releif Moisturizer and that **** burned my face.

My skin is much more red and I am never using it again.

Anyone else have this problem?

cycloverid this is in response to your post on page 4.

I get that same look from women. ALTHOUGH... I have a younger brother and he has girlfreinds that are attractive and have crystal clear complexions. Yet despite his horrific KPRF, the women folk like him. This notion baffles me.

Yeah Philmore, when it comes to KPRF, most anything you put on your face will burn. I remember I used a "sensitivie skin" cleanser at my buddy's house one time and for 2 days I had horrible burns on my face which were streaked (where it had been applied more heavily), so I looked like I had some kind of crazy red makeup on my cheeks. It was hideous. I hated life more than I usually do (which is a lot).

As far as your younger bro getting girls... good for him. He's a lucky guy then, something else about him must be pretty attractive. There are tons of other qualities that could be going for him. I could probably break it down for you if I knew the two of you.

One thing that will screw you over in the women department is if you have Long Face Syndrome like myself. I have a friend who has it as well, and it's one of those qualities that makes you just look dumb and zombied out. You basically don't stand a chance in &*$* of getting a girlfriend if you have it as well as KPRF.

Hey I'm new here, and it may sound weird, but I'm so surprised to see many others with this problem. I wish this horrible thing never existed, period! But I wanna know something, what does KP or KPRF stand for?

Philmore, I share the exact same problem as you. The redness on my cheeks/facial skin has been tearing me up for years now. It started when I was like 13, and year by year it'd get worse. And I'm 18 now. I've been to a derm. before, and he showed me the before/after pictures of others who've done laser treatment...and their faces would get bruised right after, obviously...then would heal after. But the derm. told me this laser treatment might not be permanent. I think it's that PDF thing that some people mentionned before. It'll cost me 5000 dollars =/.

@ Philmore again, it's funny how the exact same sh*t happen to me when it comes to people approaching me and asking the EXACT same questions. I feel like knocking them out badly. And it's so horrible, it's like a self-conscience thing....specially with the women who look at you strange.

Does anybody wanna post pics of their redness? I know it's kinda odd...but I'm thinking why not, it's not like we're gonna laugh since we have the same problem.

Yup... Right now I dont't have the money to get the treatement. Although, it should not cost 5000 dollars, more like 1700.

Also, my friend has KPRF with no visible redness, the rest of his facial skin is PERFECT.

It won't cost 5000, your derms an idiot.
About the girl thing, I recently have benn using Eucerin redness cover thing each day, so its not so noticable, but before I used it, girls never really comented on my face color, I even had two girlfriends. I'm not sure why, but my face I'm sure is as red as all of yours.
This condition has totally effected my life, in every aspect.
Because of this, I go to an all guys school, I can't stand being around girls with red cheeks.
But in contrast, this has in some way (though I wish I never had it) helped me.
It put me in a better crowed of people. Without it I feel my friends would have been worse kids and I would be in a totaly different evirement, likely worse.
G-d gave it to us for a reason, and we just have to live with it.
