B5 supplements seem to reduce redness
Taking B5 vitamin supplements has all but definetely helped reduce the redness in my cheeks. It also just makes your skin look smoother. I am taking Evolution-X brand B5. I assume it is the B5 in the vitamin that is making the difference, because B5 makes up the majority of the vitamin by far, but there are other things in the vitamin so there is a chance they could be doing it/ helping. I'm trying to find a link with everything that is in it, but I can't right now. Here is the website of Evolution-X: http://www.b5supplements.com/
I took 2 capsules for the first 3 days and then after that I only take one each day around 5:00 (arbitrary time). There are 400 capsules in a bottle for $40. I took more the first day because it says you should take more initially to "jolt your body into using the vitamin" (says the website). I should note though I took it for a year to treat acne, taking at most 20 capsules a day, then I stopped taking it completely for around 4 months, then I started taking it again (I don't use it any more for acne, benzoyl peroxide works better and is much much cheaper, for me at least). When I started taking it again I noticed my face was less red than normal and more even toned. If anyone else has experience with taking B5 please share! |

Tanaka are you sure you have Kprf or do you have acne on your face. They both appear red but are very different. If these vitamins helped reduce the redness of kprf that is good news.

I am definetely sure the redness on my cheeks is from KPRF. The vitamins do seem to help somewhat. Every now and then I stop taking them to see what happens, and the KPRF does seem to get a little worse. There is a chance it is in my head, but I have tried doing this about 4 or 5 times so I think it does help a little. A little, but something.
